The SOCS Help Desk is the user support center for answers to computing questions of students, faculty, staff, and anyone else associated with the School of Computer Science at McGill University.

Where is the SOCS Help Desk?

The SOCS Help Desk can be found at McConnell Engineering Building room 209N.

When is the SOCS Help Desk open?

The SOCS Help Desk is open from 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday (except for holidays). The best method of contacting the Help Desk is by e-mail at help@cs.mcgill.ca (always include a brief subject heading and detailed description of your problem). E-mail can be sent at any time and it will be answered ASAP, while voice mail will be answered the next day (during office hours).
